Pancreatin is an enzyme which is obtained from a pancreas of cows and pigs. Pancreatin is an enzyme that is used to treat digestive problem.
It is used to treat intestinal gas problems such as digestion.
Pancreatin helps to improve the absorption of fat, protein and energy in people who are not able to digest food due to cystic fibrosis.
Pancreatin contains bicarbonate ions to neutralize excess of stomach acid as it enters the small intestine
